Special THANK YOU to:
  • Mark Thompson, the CEO of Nude by Nature,
  • Steve Baxter, the entrepreneur, investor and the Shark from the Shark Tank Australia,
  • Lady Mayoress of Brisbane Nina Schrinner,
who were not able to join us live, but whose messages of encouragement and support to MiniBoss students touched our hearts and were so greatly appreciated.

A big THANK YOU to Tim Dawson from Lauxes Grates for your ongoing support, and for sponsoring monetary prizes for our winner.

Thank you, Simon, for providing Culture Kings vouchers to our winners. Our Culture Kings fans were over the moon to see you in person and receive the very special bonus awards.

Thank you, Donna, for gifting our students vouchers for treats at your iconic The Great Aussie Sweet Company store.

A very special THANK YOU to all parents of our students for their support and helping our young entrepreneurs achieve their goals.

You are our rocks, who provide the platform and support to our entrepreneurs, enabling them to propel to a better future.

A massive THANK YOU to all our mentors (Laurence Gude, Henry Hardy, Dr Ralf MuhlBerger, Tim Dawson, Rana Semaan, Emma Kruger, Nikki Dallimore, Mark Thompson, Belinda Gruebner and Brent Bell, Olivia Cosh, Cameron Davis, Kylie, and Nedda), the exceptional business leaders who despite their busy schedules running their businesses found time to support our students and provide them with the industry advice, contacts and feedback to make the students' business plans more robust and launches more successful.

And last, but not least, a HUGE THANK YOU to MiniBoss Teachers and business coaches Sam, Acushla, and Kate for your nurturing nature, love and care you've invested into our bright stars. They wouldn't have made it without your guidance and support.

All students did exceptionally well explaining to the judges their value proposition, marketing strategies, budgets, ROI, early sales results, manufacturing and supply process, etc. It was so impressive to see how well our students understand key business concepts and how well they solve problems for their customers. It was truly a proud moment for the parents and for us at the MiniBoss Australia Business School.

And so, the winners of the 2022 MiniBoss National Startup Championship are:
  • 2nd place - Scam Busters for their online services teaching kids how not to get scammed in Roblox (parents, give your kids a gift of online safety awareness and save some money by signing your Roblox fans to the masterclass here: www.scambusters.store)
  • 1st pace (this team will represent Australia in the MiniBoss Business School International World Cup finals in July 2023 in London) Canine Cakes for their healthy treats for dogs (buy their cake mix and make your furry family member's celebration extra special: www.caninecakes.store)
Congratulations to all for your efforts!

Judges could nominate only 3 teams for the awards, but you ALL did exceptionally well!

Launching your own business is a huge milestone that most people have never experienced, and you have achieved it at your young age while still in school! Well done! And keep going! Only when you keep moving towards your goals you can achieve them!
